Vietnam proxy

Some sites only show local prices, content or search results to visitors in Vietnam. A RoProxy session is a proxy of its own with credentials and an HTTP port; on the Pro and Business plans it also gets a SOCKS5 port and you set its country to Vietnam from the dashboard, then choose whether the IP stays put or rotates on a schedule. When a Vietnamese IP matters

Tracking prices and stock on Vietnamese marketplaces, where prices, shipping fees and promotions depend on where the visitor is.

Checking rankings and ads on Google.com.vn as local users see them, instead of the results served to a data center abroad.

Choosing how the IP rotates

Sticky
For logins, carts and anything that relies on cookies. The IP only changes when you rotate it, the session expires or the upstream proxy fails.
Timed rotation
For crawling many pages in a row: the IP changes after the interval you set, with a plan-dependent minimum.
Per request
For large volumes of independent requests that need no session. Available on Business.

The number of Vietnamese IPs varies over time. If none are free when you save the session, the dashboard says so; try again in a few minutes or choose the Asia region.

Frequently asked questions

Does the free plan include Vietnamese IPs?

No. Free and Standard sessions use random global IPs; choosing Vietnam needs the Pro or Business plan.

Do I need a new session to switch countries?

No. Change the session's country in the dashboard or with the API (PUT /api/session/SESSION_ID), as long as that country has IPs available.

Can I keep the same Vietnamese IP?

Yes. Put the session in sticky mode; the IP only changes when you rotate it, the session expires or the upstream proxy fails.
