When you register and use RoProxy services, we may collect:

• Account information: email address, encrypted password
• Payment information: processed by third parties, we do not store card details
• Usage data: bandwidth usage, number of proxy sessions, connection time
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system

2. How We Use Your Information

The collected information is used to:

• Provide, operate, and improve our services
• Verify identity and prevent fraud
• Send account notifications and service updates
• Technical support and dispute resolution
• Comply with legal requirements

3. Data Security

We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including SSL/TLS encryption for all connections, one-way password hashing (bcrypt), and restricted access to sensitive data. However, no method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. Information Sharing

RoProxy does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share information in the following cases: payment processing through partner payment gateways, lawful requests from competent government authorities, or to protect the legitimate interests of RoProxy.

5. Data Retention

Connection log data is stored for a maximum of 30 days for technical support and abuse detection purposes. After that, data is automatically deleted. Account information is stored until you request account deletion.

You have the right to:

• Access and view the personal information we store about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and related data
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time

7. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in (roproxy_at, roproxy_rt), and to remember your language (roproxy-lang) and a referral code from a link you opened (roproxy_ref, 30 days). A first-visit cookie (roproxy_ft, 90 days) records the first page you opened, the website that sent you and any campaign (UTM) tags in the link; it is sent to us only when you create an account and is deleted once you sign up or log in. Google Analytics measures visits and sign-ups in aggregate with its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website works without the analytics and first-visit cookies, but staying logged in needs cookies. Google Analytics and the first-visit cookie are used only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Your choice is kept in roproxy_consent for 12 months, and you can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page.
